Street signage

Street signs are a useful visual deterrant to criminals and we are in discussions to set up local signage.

Engage council services

Report potholes, street lighting/traffic light faults, damaged pavement or kerbs and blocked drains with Luton Borough Council.

ABOUT US

Portland Watch was established in April 2018 in response to neighbours getting together to improve safety and collaborative working in the area.

The Watch covers Portland Road and all adjoining roads from Shaftesbury Road to Churchill Road and is open to all.

Our objectives are to:

Increase public participation in the prevention and detection of crime to increase community safety and reduce fear.
Promote good citizenship and neighbourliness
Improve community liaison and partnership working
